Elite competition
The Edmonton Beach Volleyball League (EBVL) is built for players who love to compete. Created by passionate athletes and our local beach volleyball community, EBVL brings together players who seek high-level games, real competition, and the opportunity to keep improving. We built the league around what competitive players value most — strong matchups, a challenging environment, and a community that pushes each other to get better. Whether you’re looking to test your skills, elevate your game, or compete alongside dedicated athletes, EBVL is where competitive beach volleyball thrives.
Format
Start: June 11, 2026
Location: U of A Lister Beach Courts
- 8 Women's & 8 Men's Teams
- Schedule: Thursday Nights
- Duration: 6-8 weeks
- Format: Best of 3 (21-21-15)
- Top teams advance to the playoffs
Earn your place in the league at the qualifying tournament. League champions will be awarded the EBVL Trophy.

Partnered teams must register for one qualifier event.
Top teams from each gender will earn qualification into the league based on their performance. Teams that have already qualified are not permitted to compete in additional qualifiers. Players or teams who do not qualify may be offered a spot on the league substitute list for potential league openings throughout the season.
